Andrew A. Lewis, Principal, Keystone Risk Partners, LLC. Andy has over 30 years of experience in providing alternative market solutions to agents and brokers throughout the country. He has structured hundreds of innovative programs across all industry segments and lines of coverage for a variety of different corporate, nonprofit, group, and association clients. Andy has a deep understanding of captives, rent-a-captives, as well as more traditional risk financing vehicles. As an owner and investor in a number of businesses, Andy has the insight to be able to translate an operational objective of an owner into an alternative insurance structure for their business.

Before establishing Keystone Risk Partners, LLC, Andy was an Executive Vice President of Commonwealth Risk Services, which was the sales and marketing arm of Mutual Risk Management (MRM), a global provider of insurance and financial services. Andy joined MRM in 1989 and quickly emerged as the top producer, leading the company in virtually every sales category. Andy and his sales teams were one of the main catalysts that allowed MRM to be the first Bermuda domiciled company to go public on the NYSE in 1991 and achieve over a decade of impressive growth.

Prior to joining MRM, Andy worked for Fidelity Bank as a credit analyst and Drexel Burnham Lambert as an account executive. Andy graduated with a BA in Economics from Swarthmore College. Andy was very active with coaching youth sports and has served on a number of both non- and for-profit boards.

Douglas F. Deitch, Principal, Keystone Risk Partners, LLC.  Doug has over 25 years of experience in the development, implementation, and management of alternative risk financing solutions for larger insureds and their insurance professionals.  As one of the founding principals of Keystone Risk Partners, Doug has successfully structured programs for insurance challenges over a breadth of industry classifications including: professional baseball and football franchises, nursing homes and other healthcare institutions, manufacturing, hospitality, property managers, transportation, and financial services companies.

One of Doug’s areas of expertise is in using captives as a tool for providing greater transparency into insurance cash flows, liability accrual strategies, and meeting collateral requirements as an alternative to restricting working capital for insureds that assume risk within their commercial insurance program. These innovative financial solutions, particularly for privately held companies, often go beyond solving the initial insurance challenge facing customer.

Prior to establishing Keystone, Doug was as a Senior Vice President and Production Team Leader for Commonwealth Risk Services, the sales and marketing arm of Mutual Risk Management, a global provider of insurance and financial services.

Doug graduated from Lafayette College with a BA in Economics.

John T. Naughton, CPCU, Principal, Keystone Risk Partners. John brings over 25 years of alternative market underwriting and production experience to Keystone’s individual risk and group captive customers. A true believer in the adage; “know your territory”, John spends a considerable amount of his time meeting with agents and business owners throughout the country.

John is a frequent speaker on the topic of Captives and most recently served on the Alternative Risk Committee of SIIA. He is currently on the board of several Tennessee based member-owned group captives.

Prior to joining Keystone Risk in 2006, John was an owner of Innovative Captive Strategies, a Des Moines, IA based firm. While at ICS, John focused his time on the formation of captive programs for both large businesses as well as groups of medium sized businesses. John’s career also includes 10 years at Commonwealth Risk Services where he served as Senior Vice President. John began his career as a National Account Underwriter with CIGNA.

John is a graduate of West Chester University with a BS in Business Management and holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation.

Cynthia J. Burks, CPCU, Principal, Keystone Risk Partners. Cindy is primarily responsible for cultivating and managing strategic market relationships as well as facilitating complicated casualty and excess placements in the marketplace. She brings a wealth of national account experience in sales and underwriting along with strategic relationships with partner insurance and reinsurance companies.

Most recently she was employed as an Assistant Vice President of Commonwealth Risk Services and was responsible for the structuring of risk financing arrangements and production of large-account casualty business. Her background includes nine years of experience in the production underwriting of complex national accounts on the casualty side with Reliance National.

Cindy is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and a graduate of Swarthmore College with a BA in Economics.

Raymond J. Rocchio, Jr., Executive Vice President, Keystone Risk Partners. Raymond has over 25 years of expertise in the insurance industry focusing on underwriting, distribution and operations. He most recently served as a founder in Concert Insurance, a fronting carrier created for commercial programs and captives.

Prior to joining Keystone and Concert, he held various responsibilities as Executive Vice President of the SPCIA Insurance Agency, a Managing General Underwriter focused on the medical equipment and transportation industries and Vice President at Old Republic Insurance (ORI) with full P&L accountability for a new alternative market segments. There he led the development for Individual and Groups on primary insurance, captives and reinsurance structures that included SIR's, quota-share and other risk transfer approaches.

He began his underwriting career in a commercial training program at the Travelers and spent 10 years with their Middle Market and National Accounts divisions.

Raymond is a graduate of West Chester University. He was honorably discharged from active duty in the United States Army where he served as a captain in the Transportation Corps.

Rory Stackpole, Vice President, Keystone Risk Partners, LLC. Rory has a decade of experience with Keystone after joining the business right out of college.  Rory’s responsibilities focus on coordinating the relationships between our clients, our captive management team, and the reinsurance relationships needed for our captives. This start-to-finish expertise lets Rory bring the right understanding of the insurance market, underwriting knowledge, and insurance company accounting to a prospective client so that their unique financial needs are addressed early in the process.

Rory has also developed Keystone’s proprietary claims and analytics database to help support our Risk Mitigation model and bring efficiency to the data-oriented side of Keystone. Through the creation of this database, Keystone has been able to identify meaningful trends in the underwriting results of our clients and helped analyze overall trends we may see in our property and casualty book of business.

Justin Fones, Assistant Vice President – Underwriting, Keystone Risk Partners. Justin’s primary focus includes underwriting complex risks and structuring alternative market solutions for our clients. He also works closely with our broker and carrier partners to ensure a high level of execution throughout the underwriting process.

Prior to joining Keystone in the summer of 2022, Justin spent 13 years working for PMA Companies in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. As a Senior Underwriting Specialist for the Specialty Markets Division, he was responsible for a $52 million dollar book of business comprised entirely of captive and alternative risk clients. He gained acknowledgement for his ability to handle complex, unique risks that presented both underwriting and operational challenges.

Justin attended Moravian University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where he studied Business Management and Economics.

Jay S. Peichel, Principal, Keystone Risk Partners. Since KRP’s inception, Jay has focused on building Keystone’s risk mitigation platform for large loss-sensitive clients. Jay created V2 Compass, a consulting platform that utilizes proprietary tools to analyze and contrast clients and service providers’ historical loss data against industry benchmarks. The online portal provides dashboards on TCOR, claim, payment and pharmacy data to provide depth in a client’s understanding of trends and performance drivers. In addition, V2 works with employers, groups and agents to help understand where the loss dollar goes and help employers bridge the gap between their losses and actuarial loss analysis. We are leaders in designing and implementing data-driven solutions that result in better claim outcomes for those clients that assume a portion of their own risk. In the process, Keystone has validated and partnered with certain service providers that are critical components to Keystone’s recommended risk mitigation platform based on their best practice results.

Prior to forming KRP, Jay was employed as a Vice President of Commonwealth Risk Services (CRS). Jay produced and managed some of the more complicated financial structures that have required the technical knowledge of insurance company processes. Prior to CRS, Jay was a Senior Casualty Underwriter for Reliance National Insurance Company. Jay is a National McCabe scholar and a graduate of Swarthmore College with a BA in Economics.

Alex Fudali, CPCU, ARM, ARe, Vice President, Keystone Risk Partners. After years of working alongside Keystone at his former employers, Alex joined Keystone in 2022, bringing expertise in technical underwriting, account management, and negotiation of loss-sensitive casualty programs. His primary responsibilities include servicing a book of alternative risk business, marketing, and providing underwriting support and analysis for new placements. Prior to working at Keystone, Alex spent 10 years in various National Account underwriting roles at Zurich North America and Arch Insurance where he structured complex workers’ compensation, general and product liability, auto liability, and captive arrangements.

Alex holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida, and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Dual Major in Finance & Risk Management/Insurance. His industry coursework from The Institute’s includes the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation, Associate in Risk Management, and Associate in Reinsurance.

Kevin Moulton, Assistant Vice President, Keystone Risk Partners, LLC. Kevin’s primary responsibilities consist of servicing Keystone’s alternative risk financing customers and their agent partners as well as working with carriers throughout their underwriting process. He is also involved in the educational process for new business and has started a few internal educational programs at Keystone Risk Partners.

Prior to joining Keystone, Kevin worked as a Financial Analyst while completing his Masters of Business Administration from Wilkes University. Additionally, Kevin graduated Summa Cum Laude from King’s College in which he played soccer for four years and was named to the MAC All-Conference First Team.

Christine Sears, Senior Account Executive, Keystone Risk Partners. Christine joined Keystone in March of 2023 after many years of experience working in the industry. She began her career on the Insurance Carrier side learning insurance principles, rating and underwriting. Christine then moved onto the Broker side of the industry, obtaining her Producers license and working for an LLC, servicing small to large complex commercial clients.

Current responsibilities at Keystone include gathering information for new business and renewal underwriting submissions, preparing premium rating and loss development models as well as handling the day to day needs of Keystone’s clients. She looks forward to effectively servicing each of the assigned Keystone accounts by coordinating with internal team members and external broker partners.

Nate Booth, CCIC, CPCU, Account Executive, Keystone Risk Partners, LLC. Nate joined Keystone in the summer of 2016 after graduating from Swarthmore College. While there, Nate studied Economics and Statistics and was an All-Conference pitcher for the Swarthmore baseball team. Nate also had the opportunity to study in Barcelona for a semester.

As an Account Executive, Nate’s primary focus is providing support for Keystone’s clients and their broker partners. He works on gathering underwriting data, modeling projected losses and collateral needs, coordinating with underwriters, analyzing claims data, assessing risk mitigation techniques, and managing other day-to-day account needs of Keystone's clients. His favorite part of working at Keystone is looking into new business opportunities and learning about new risks and their unique exposures/insurance needs.

Nate completed the Cyber COPE Insurance Certification program in March of 2020 and completed his CPCU designation in the summer of 2020.

Prem Rajkumar, Account Executive, Keystone Risk Partners. Prem is a graduate of Temple University, Fox School of Business with degrees in Risk Management & Insurance as well as International Business. After graduation, Prem consecutively worked at Liberty Mutual as a Personal Lines Agent, Allstate as a Commercial Lines Broker, and NSM Insurance Group as a Commercial Lines Underwriter specializing in underwriting hurricane-exposed properties. He joined the Keystone team in the summer of 2020.

Prem relishes the Account Executive role. He’s dedicated to serving Keystone’s internal and external stakeholders. His responsibilities include: underwriting to determine captive feasibility, preparing submissions, analyzing loss runs, actuarial modeling, and coordinating with partner brokers/clients. He particularly enjoys the process of reviewing new opportunities, analyzing the risks facing their business, and collaborating with the Keystone team to deliver unique solutions to its clients' insurance challenges.

Prem’s recreations include reading, traveling, meditation, yoga, archery and practicing martial arts.

Emily McPherson, Account Executive, Keystone Risk Partners, LLC. As an Account Executive, Emily is dedicated to supporting Keystone’s clients and their broker partners. Her responsibilities include preparing submissions, underwriting to determine captive feasibility, analyzing loss runs, and managing day-to-day account support of Keystone’s clients.

Emily graduated from Penn State University in 2018, where she earned a degree in Marketing and was a four-year member of the NCAA Division I swim team. Emily is currently pursuing her Masters of Business Administration from Penn State Great Valley. After graduation, Emily started with M&T Bank in a Management Development Program and went on to become a Branch Manager. Emily joins Keystone with prior insurance experience, having most recently worked as a Property and Casualty Underwriter for Westchester, a Chubb Company. During her time at Westchester, Emily focused on underwriting in the Southeastern U.S. and developing broker relationships, as well as completed a Leadership Development Program.

Emily joined Keystone in the summer of 2023.

Joel Pina, Chief Financial Officer, Keystone Risk Partners. Joel joined Keystone in 2004. Prior to joining Keystone, Joel was the CFO at Preferred Real Estate Investments, a $1BB+ privately-held developer, owner and operator of commercial real estate with a portfolio of 8MM square feet. He was responsible for all aspects of financial management at Preferred. Prior to that, he was a founder, Chairman and CFO at i-Open, a venture-backed, new media company providing digital signage software and solutions to major retailers throughout the U.S. His activity included cultivating business relationships and negotiating contracts with premier retail clients and advertisers, along with guiding the process to successfully raise $8 million through multiple rounds of financing. Joel was also the CFO for Graham Partners, a $225MM LBO fund that engages in leveraged acquisitions, joint ventures, growth capital investments and other equity-related investments.  During his tenure, Joel was actively involved in all stages of due diligence, transaction structuring, financing, and post-closing financial monitoring of portfolio companies.  Prior to joining Graham, Joel had very successful tenures as Manager in charge of Worldwide Tax Reporting and Planning at ARCO Chemical, and prior to that as a Senior Tax Manager at Price Waterhouse.

Joel earned his B.S. degree in Business Management and Accounting from Boston College, where he participated in the S.O.M. Honors Program and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Joel earned a Masters of Taxation from Villanova University, where he graduated with honors, and his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where he was a Director’s List student.  Joel is a former CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a member of the Self-Insured Institute of America and active in its Enterprise Committee.

Lisa Jarvis, Account Coordinator & Office Manager, Keystone Risk Partners. Lisa’s primary responsibilities consist of maintaining KRP’s databases, providing assistance on all accounts including analyzing submissions, coordination with partner brokers, billing, audit reconciliations and policy review. In addition, Lisa is responsible for all human resource functions and day to day management of office administration. Prior to joining Keystone, Lisa was a Program Administrator at Commonwealth Risk, working closely with Andy Lewis. In this capacity she was responsible for evaluating new business opportunities, analyzing loss data, assisting in the renewal process, and maintaining contact with brokers to ensure broker and client satisfaction. Lisa is a graduate of the Art Institute of Philadelphia and St. Monica’s School of Business.

Gayle Drais, CPA, Vice President/Controller, Keystone Risk Partners. Gayle’s primary responsibilities include maintaining the books and records of the entities under management by Keystone’s captive manager, KRP Managers. She is also responsible for the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements for each of these entities. Gayle also provides assistance to the CFO with various accounting and finance functions for Keystone.

Prior to joining Keystone, Gayle was a senior manager at Siana, Carr, O’Connor & Lynam, LLP (SCOL), a public accounting firm in Paoli, PA. During her tenure there, Gayle participated and supervised all facets of independent audits, reviews and compilations for a wide-ranging client base of privately held companies and not-for-profit entities. Gayle also was responsible for the preparation of federal, state and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals and not-for-profits. Prior to joining SCOL, Gayle held various positions at the public accounting firm of BDO Seidman, LLP.

Gayle earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Temple University and was a Cum Laude graduate. Gayle is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Joe Kirkwood, MBA, Staff Accountant, Keystone Risk Partners. Joe’s primary responsibilities include maintaining the books and records of the entities under management by Keystone’s captive manager, KRP Managers. Joe also assists in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, tax returns and state regulatory filings for each of these entities.

Prior to joining Keystone, Joe was a Financial Control Analyst at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. in Newark, DE. During his tenure there, he specialized in accounting, management and analysis of Auto & Student consumer debt products, as well as being responsible for managing the monthly consolidation of the bank’s balance sheet for the Auto & Student loan line of business and maintenance of financial reports.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Joe was an Experienced Staff Auditor at WithumSmith+Brown, PC in Philadelphia, PA. During his tenure there, he conducted audit fieldwork and engagement planning for Commercial, Financial Services, Non-Profit, and Government Agency clients, as well as compiled financial statements and relevant tax filings for said clients.

Joe earned his B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting) and MBA from Widener University.

Natalie Koch, Staff Accountant, Keystone Risk Partners. Natalie’s primary responsibilities consist of maintaining the books and records of the entities under management by Keystone’s captive manager, KRP Managers. Natalie also assists in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements for these entities.

Prior to joining Keystone, Natalie worked as a senior tax accountant at CohnReznick, a public accounting firm in Bethesda, MD. During her tenure there, she prepared and reviewed partnership and non-profit tax returns.

Natalie is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned her degree in Accounting, as well as a minor in Economics.

Kim Gutjahr, CPA, Accounting Manager, Keystone Risk Partners. Kim's primary responsibilities include maintaining the books and records of the entities under management by KRP Managers, LLC. Kim performs all aspects of the monthly financial close for various entities, including preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and related analyses. She also builds Excel VBA solutions to support the Finance group, improve processes as opportunities are identified, and drive efficiencies for the entity accounting and administrative side of Keystone.

Prior to joining Keystone, Kim was the Senior Business Data Analyst at Allen Brothers Wholesale Distributors LLC in Philadelphia, PA. During her time there, Kim served as the internal partner for leadership, purchasing, sales, and operations. Projects included sales and margin analysis, void fill analysis, systems and process improvement, tax stamp reporting, database management, Smartsheet administration, data visualization utilizing Tableau, and automation through Excel VBA solutions.

Prior to joining Allen Brothers, Kim held various positions in Finance with DuPont in Wilmington, DE. Over the course of 13 years with DuPont, her responsibilities included internal controls (Sarbanes-Oxley), month-end close, management reporting and analysis, SAP upgrade projects, SharePoint administration, and coordination of the monthly fixed cost forecast and annual budget process for approximately forty manufacturing sites across the globe. Kim also developed an Access and Excel Pivot-based reporting tool for the combined Kalrez and Vespel Parts business, providing unprecedented insight into profitability and support for data-driven decisions impacting top-line growth and margins.

Prior to joining DuPont, Kim was a Supervising Senior Accountant in Audit with KPMG LLP in Philadelphia, PA. Kim conducted engagement planning and audit fieldwork for Manufacturing, Public Utility, Non-Profit, Pharmaceutical and other Commercial clients, performed quarterly reviews, and was involved in special projects such as due diligence and agreed-upon procedures related to transfer pricing and compliance testing.

Kim graduated Cum Laude from Drexel University, with a B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance and Marketing. Kim is also a proud graduate of the 251st class of Central High School of Philadelphia, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Tyler Brodniak, Staff Accountant, Keystone Risk Partners. Tyler’s primary responsibilities include maintaining the books and records of the entities under management by Keystone’s captive manger, KRP Managers. Tyler also assists in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, tax returns and state regulatory filings for each of these entities.

Prior to joining Keystone, Tyler was a Senior Accountant in the audit department with Isdaner & Company, LLC, a public accounting firm in Bala Cynwyd, PA. Tyler led and performed audits, reviews and compilations for Construction, Manufacturing, Non-Profit, Tech Startup and other non-public clients in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Tyler graduated from Pennsylvania State University, where he earned his B.S. in Accounting and a minor in Legal Environment of Business.
